How to become a member

Membership is open to all types of youth travel accommodation providers (small, big, chain, private, not-for-profit and Hostelling International), official tourism organisations and suppliers of goods or services to the youth travel accommodation industry.

 
To apply for membership of the STAY WYSE Association please download and complete the Membership Application Form.


All full members of STAY WYSE will also be required to become members of the World Youth, Student and Educational (WYSE) Travel Confederation.

 

A special agreement has been negotiated between STAY WYSE and WYSE Travel Confederation. Under the terms of this agreement:

 

  • 'Accommodation Providers' with fewer than 100 beds are granted WYSE Travel Confederation membership 'Category 1' at no additional cost (The cost of WYSE Travel Confederation membership for these organisations will instead be covered by the STAY WYSE Association).
  • STAY WYSE 'Accommodation Provider' members with more than 100 beds will be required to become a member of WYSE Travel Confederation membership and pay an additional WYSE Travel Confederation membership fee.

 

Membership Fees
Annual STAY WYSE membership fees are as follows:
Accommodation Provider           1 - 50 beds          100 EUR
Accommodation Provider         51 - 100 beds         200 EUR
Accommodation Provider       101 - 200 beds         350 EUR
Accommodation Provider     More than 200 beds    400 EUR
Service Providers                                                 400 EUR
e.g. accommodation booking agent
Affiliate                                                               400 EUR
e.g. insurance, cleaning, catering services

 
Note: For organisations operating more than one hostel, the number of beds for membership purposes is the total number of beds in all hostels operated by your organisation.
