ao_logo“We are delighted to open our second house in Vienna on 1st March. The A&O Wien Hauptbahnhof is centrally located in Sonnwendgasse 11. The construction work has made such a rapid progress, even faster than we had expected, particularly in the field of interiour design. We would like to thank everyone involved,” said Oliver Winter, General Manager of A&O HOTELS and HOSTELS.

The new hotel has 297 rooms; about 1,100 beds are available for the guests. A&O are going to employ four permanent employees and about 16 temporary employees. For the future, the company is planning to train four young people at A&O Wien Hauptbahnhof.

The total project took seven months; A&O have invested 3.2 million Euros in this site. With its location right on Vienna’s main train station the building meets the requirements of the hostel group: All HOTELS and HOSTELS impress with their central location and direct access to rail and public transport.
