The 15th annual HOSCAR awards by Hostelworld have been announced and several WYSE Travel Confederation accommodation members have been honoured. The award for Best Extra Large Hostel went to Freehand Chicago. Hostels on this list have more than 350 beds. Freehand Chicago is situated in a classic building that dates back to 1927. This hostel takes pride in its innovative design and lively cocktail bar. The second best reviewed extra large hostel was Hostelling International (HI) Boston. HI Boston is centrally located and offers volunteer-led city tours. They’ve even compiled tips for exploring the city as an environmentally and socially responsible visitor. Hostelling International is partnered with WYSE Travel Confederation on the latest New Horizons Survey. Travellers can win a free three nights stay for two people at HI Boston, or any other HI hostel worldwide, just by completing the survey.
