YellowSquare lands EUR 65 million financing from UniCredit and Invel Real Estate

YellowSquare is strengthening its position as one of Southern Europe’s most dynamic hybrid hospitality players, following a EUR 65 million financing agreement designed to support its continued growth in Italy. The loan, secured by Invel Real Estate through the Yellow fund managed by Castello Sgr and provided by UniCredit, will fund the next phase of the platform’s expansion.

The investment will be directed towards the acquisition and development of more than 2,000 beds across key Italian cities with strong international appeal. All properties will be fully operated by YellowSquare, with a clear focus on urban regeneration and sustainable construction. The financing qualifies as a green loan, underlining the group’s ongoing commitment to ESG principles.

The financing builds on the strategic joint venture established between Invel and YellowSquare in January 2025, which laid the groundwork for the platform’s current expansion plans. With approximately 1,200 beds already in operation, YellowSquare is now scaling its European footprint through new developments that combine innovative design with social, community-driven spaces.

The wider partnership targets a total investment of EUR 200 million, with ambitions to manage more than 5,000 beds across Italy, Spain, Greece, and Portugal.
