Thijs de Groot is currently Program Manager at the Netherlands Board of Tourism and Conventions (NBTC) where he works on destination development programmes aimed at dynamic cities, resident benefits from tourism and climate-neutral travel. Thijs has held various positions at NBTC in their offices in The Hague, London and New York and was Marketing Manager in the route development team at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
