Deirdre Felgar is the owner of Sin City Hostel in Las Vegas, Nevada (USA). Sin City Hostel has been a hostel since 1984. Originally a rudimentary hostel, Sin City Hostel is becoming a “posh” hostel with some rooms converted to pods. The property won the Best of Las Vegas Awards in the Boutique and Budget-Friendly Hotel categories in 2024 and 2025. Sin City is not only a survivor of the changes that hostels have seen over the years, but also of competing in a very competitive market like Las Vegas – and they have thrived!
