Gábor Forgács is the Managing Director of Lebowski in Budapest, overseeing a growing portfolio of high-quality urban accommodation brands including Maverick City Lodge, The Amberlyn Suite Hotel, Leo Boutique Rooms, and Giselle Budapest. With nearly two decades of experience in hospitality and tourism, Gábor has played a key role in shaping guest-centric operations, elevating service standards, and modernising internal processes across all properties.

He leads the commercial and strategic direction of the lodge group, including revenue performance, operational development, and, most recently, the company’s marketing activities. His current focus includes strengthening data-based decision making, improving content quality, and enhancing digital communication to better align with the expectations of modern travellers.

Educated in the United Kingdom and active in Hungary’s hospitality sector since returning home, Gábor brings an international perspective to the evolving needs of youth travellers, digital nomads and culturally curious guests. He is passionate about building strong teams, developing sustainable, experience-rich accommodation concepts, and contributing to Budapest’s growing reputation as one of Europe’s most exciting travel destinations.
