STAY WYSE undertakes regular research of the hostel industry and the youth travel accommodation industry as a whole. The Industry Flash Series is designed to give members the information they need to know about where they fit in the marketplace, how to drive revenue, where and how to best market their offer, and how to position their hostel to get the edge on the competition. Surveys will be kept short and sweet, with the questions- and thus the answers – honing in on the key details and information that members really want to know.
In 2015, we published two very successful reports
- Booking Sources: Where do bookings come from? The report is available here.
- Ancillary Revenues: Besides beds, what are guests spending money on? The report is available here.
So what’s coming next?
- Booking Sources 2016: The second edition of the Booking Sources Report is going even deeper into the topic of where bookings come from and will be published in February 2017.
STAY WYSE takes the confidentiality of the information that you provide very seriously. We will ensure that:
All answers that you provide are handled as confidential.
All data and figures contributed to this study will only be reported in aggregate terms in our final report.
Your data will not be identified on an individual basis for any reason.
That’s right, we need you to participate! Never a truer word spoken than ‘you get out what you put in’. The reports following these surveys will be made available to those who take the time to submit a fully completed survey. Each survey will be designed to take no more than five minutes to complete, but the results may generate any number of ideas, revenue streams, strategies or plans that may be invaluable to your business.
Want more? Want something else?
We want to hear from you! Have you got ideas for a short and simple survey that would be valuable to your business? Or is there a burning topic you’d like some research on? Please get in touch at email@example.com
