Welcoming younger LGBTQ+ travellers

You can’t provide authentic, personalised service to LGBTQ+ travellers if you don’t know who we are or feel comfortable talking to us. This session will illustrate the ways that LGBTQ+ travellers are often mistreated, and explore the language needed to speak respectfully with them and about them. Fifty-two percent of millennials and Gen Z identify as something other than 100% straight, and 54% of them know someone who uses a pronoun other than he or she. This session will explore a new gender revolution and how hospitality professionals need to prepare for it.
