Marketing Manager, Haka House Hostels

Rebecca Mayston is a proud kiwi, who for 12 years was better known as the Desert Queen with her expedition leadership in Oman. As the Marketing Manager for Haka House Hostels, she helps to shape the brand across media and throughout their network of properties.

Creativity, thinking outside the box and a LOVE for travel has led her to many unique, challenging and awe-inspiring experiences. Rebecca believes that TRAVEL IS THE BEST CLASSROOM, and that solo travel taught her resilience and opened her up to the world of travel and experiences available. Rebecca is also a haute couture dressmaker, a professional desert driver and passionate about helping ordinary people experience extraordinary moments.
